Rules for Access on Trails and Greenbelts

These Rules for Access of Trails and Greenbelts (the “Rules”) shall govern access to land owned
by Cypress Ranch Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 (the “District”) by residents of
the District and other persons.
1. Horses and unauthorized motorized vehicles are prohibited on the trails and greenbelts.
2. Pets must be restrained on a leash at all times on the trails and greenbelts.
3. Residents must collect their own pet’s waste and dispose of it at their home.
4. Glass containers of any kind are not permissible on trails and greenbelts.
5. Camping, cooking, and fires are not permissible on trails and greenbelts.
6. Loud music and other nuisances are not permissible on trails and greenbelts.
7. Residents and guests shall not disturb the landscape or wildlife in its native habitat.
8. Littering or dumping of trash, debris, yard clippings, or brush piles is prohibited on
District-owned land.
9. Unauthorized construction of any kind is prohibited on District-owned land.
10. Hunting is prohibited on District-owned land.
11. Except for possession of a handgun by a valid handgun license holder, firearms are
prohibited on District-owned land.
12. The District may suspend access to the trails and greenbelts at any time for repairs or for
hazardous conditions.
13. Damage to the trails and greenbelts may result in repair costs being assessed against the
responsible persons.
14. Any damage or concerns about the trails and greenbelts may be reported to the District’s
General Manager at AWR Services, Inc. at (512) 402-1990.
